Last Monday, Ian and I took a train down to London and spent the day sight seeing. We’d always discussed doing this in the past as neither of us had been there for a proper day out. I thought this would also be a great opportunity to use my Nikon D300 DSLR camera.
It turned out to be a cracking day, chilly but dry and quite sunny. We had booked tickets online for the London Eye which was a good decision as the queue was massive and even with tickets we still had quite a long wait. London Eye was fantastic and I managed to get some really nice shots throughout the day.
I had over 450 photos in total and after reviewing them all, I managed to whittle them down to a more manageable 103. I have now processed them in Lightroom and I must say, there are a couple of brilliant photos in there. They can be viewed in my London set on my Flickr page. A slideshow is also available.
